Hello Everyone,
I notice 20 or more hits a day on this forum yet not many people are posting or joining in. Please if you are reading this at least register and leave a post introducing yourself. The only way this forum will be useful to SCTU or anyone else is if we talk to one another. Very Happy
I have added a simple poll question to get you started.

My grandfather stripped me of my bait cast rod at age 8, and, he put a fly rod in my hand. A patient old timer he was.....I still remember him cussing when I'd lose a fly because I lowered the tip with a fish on.

I wish he was around today so he could cast and fish one of my cane rods.....I think he'd have been impressed with what I've turned out to be.

I've been fly fishing ever since; 36 years on the water.

Tim

It's nice to see SCTU's site looking good and now interactive. I've been away from the chapter and fly fishing for years, probably seven or more, but just yesterday Stan Cooper stopped by my office to say hello. "Junior" looks like a million bucks! It was marvelous seeing him, which brought back some of the greatest memories of my life.

My best to all!

Hi Vince,
Glad you like the new look of sctu.org. Hope you can get back into flyfishing and make more memories. I belong to the Creamton fly fishing club, we had a stocking and workday today and a member that knows I'm part of SCTU was asking if you were still involved or if I knew you.
P.S. You are doing great work with the SPCA, I am also a member of the Wyo. Valley Pilots club and we look forward to our Pets & Planes event again this year.

Hi Philip...

Thanks for being so kind and generous. Your pilot's club did great things for our SPCA last year and I'm betting this year's event will be twice the size. You guys really left people talking, I hear your event mentioned at least once a week.

It was my pleasure to be part of SCTU for many years, including a couple terms as a board member, and emcee of the banquet for what had to be eight or nine years. Judging by the current number of SCTU members, it sure seems clear that this continues to be one of the healthiest and most active chapters in the state.

I'll be around!

Vince

There are many animal lovers in the Pilots club and we all enjoyed a great day last year and yes this years event is already planned and details being worked out for Sept 14th.
The SCTU is very active with Bowman's and the Upper Delaware and has accomplished much good in years past with much more to come I pray.

Let me know when you have some time off and we will head up to my Creamton Club to wet some line.
Tight Lines,
Philip
